Craft Korean Soju & Makgeolli, Made in Atlanta
Minhwa Spirits is Georgia's first soju distillery — a grain-to-glass brewstillery in Doraville making Yong Soju, a 40% ABV craft Korean soju fermented with traditional nuruk and distilled from rice with no glucose syrup, no sweeteners, no shortcuts. Yong won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2024 and 2025, and was named Best in Class Soju in 2025 — the first soju in America, and the first outside Korea, to win the category.
Beyond the bottle: our Doraville jumak serves makgeolli, cocktails, and Korean food, and our new West Midtown flagship — Minhwa — opens 2027 with a full Korean kitchen and a vinyl listening lounge.
